Aria Donn

Aria’s most recent large-scale composition, completed in 2024. The piece exemplifies her heart-on-sleeve, unashamedly tonal style. 

Aria performs her arrangement for violin and piano of a rarely heard solo piano work by H.W. Ernst, a composer far better known for his virtuoso violin music. The score is available free on IMSLP. 

Aria performs Roman Kim’s notoriously difficult modern showpiece I Brindisi: Introduction and Variations on “Libiamo ne’ lieti calici” from Verdi’s La Traviata. She is one of very few violinists known to have performed the work.
